Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules

Things I Like About This Movie:

1. The brothers made friends (finally)

2. Greg got the girl

3. Greg and Rodrick as friends is actually really cute

4. Fregley didn't use any boogers

5. I loved how Greg made that sacrifice for his brother, it was beautiful

6. Rowley is awesome

7. At the party, the song they danced to was from The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning

8. Admit it...Rodrick is just a tiny bit cute...and as a good guy I am justified in so thinking

9. Rodrick didn't share the video of Greg in his underwear and gave it to him instead

10. Maybe it's wrong...but the "peeping tom" scene was amusing...I felt really bad for poor Greg though!

11. It was funny, again

Things I DON'T Like About This Movie:

1. The boys disobeyed their parents

2. They lied a lot (for some reason boys in movies have NO problem lying!)

3. The Foot (enough said)

4. Fregley was still creepy (He literally scares me! I seriously hope there are NOT kids like that in real life!)

Tooth Fairy 2

Things I Like About This Movie

1. It's hilarious
2. It's cute
3. It has a happy ending
4. The little tooth fairy, Nikki, is awesome
5. I may be a girl, but musical sparkly farts are hilarious
6. Jeff is too funny
7. The Florida snowball fight is awesome
8. It's a heartwarming movie
9. Turning into a tooth fairy is pretty randomly original

Things I DON'T Like About This Movie:
1. The hero is fat. Call me shallow or whatnot but I don't like movies where the hero is fat and gets the girl.

Shrek

Things I Like About This Movie:

1. Donkey is voiced by Mushu (oops, Eddie Murphy)

2. Andrew Adamson directed it

3. Harry Gregson-Williams composed the music

4. It's somewhat funny

5. Fiona is pretty awesome

6. Shrek and Donkey's friendship is cute

7. Let's be honest, the dragon/donkey couple is the best part of the movie

8. Even though I hate ogres, Shrek is pretty cool

Things I DON'T Like About This Movie:

1. Ogres. I hate 'em. Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. If they didn't eat such nasty things, I could handle them. But they do.

2. It's WAY TOO CHEESY (and I usually LIKE cheesy)

3. The eyeball thing (I do not understand why they would put that in a KIDS MOVIE!)

4. Dreamworks once again got away with REAL copyright infringement (stealing ideas) while people who post stuff on YouTube for comment purposes (which IS legal) get their account closed.

Tangled

Things I Like About This Movie:
1. It's cute
2. It's hilarious
3. It's a Disney Princess film
4. Bad boy meets princess and turns good, and princess turns adventurous but still good (one of my favorite cliches)
5. Its overall wholesomeness, sincerity, and awesomeness just flow good qualities into kids (and teens, and adults)
6. Mandy Moore is in it
7. It obviously doesn't care about offending anyone
8. It has THAT moment...when your true love is, as far as you know, dead, and a) comes back to life or b) actually isn't dead. (I would seriously be willing to suffer the pain of thinking my true love was dead just to experience this.)
9. The music...oh such music!
10. The evil is disposed of at just the right moment
11. The movie is just plain epic
12. Flynn is just...Flynn. I love him, he is my favorite animated guy EVER (yup, over Aladdin. Aladdin's nose is too big for my tastes anyway)
13. Pascal is awesome
14. The beginning is so weird and un-cheesy
15. The movie is so NOT cheesy but cheesy at the same time

Things I DON'T Like About this movie:
1. It ended
2. After Eugene cut Rapunzel's hair, it was just a little too short

Night At The Museum

Things I Like About This Movie

1. It's kind of nostalgic (not personally, I've only seen it twice, and that in the last month, but the story itself)
2. The Egyptian king guy (Aakmenrah?) is kind of cute and definitely entertaining
3. It's pretty funny
4. Dick Van Dyke is in it
5. They reform all the bad guys
6. The Easter Island guy is AWESOME
7. The scene where Attila gets reformed is just...precious
8. The ending is just awesome

Things I DON'T Like About This Movie

1. Theodore Roosevelt and Sacajawea just don't go--besides, they were both kind of MARRIED! To like, DIFFERENT PEOPLE!
2. The whole life thing comes from an Egyptian tablet...a little unsure as to how that goes with Christianity, though as it is just a movie and no one is likely to believe that it really has power, and I don't THINK it was supposed to have anything to do with Egyptian god-power, it is probably harmless.

Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure

Things I like about this movie:

1. Again, most of the personalities are true to the book

2. Mandie and Joe are just so cute!

3. They reused villains, instead of them just disappearing. Mysteries rarely do that, and it makes it more realistic

Things I DON'T like about this movie:

1. The events in the last part were supposed to be near the end of the first one
2. They totally changed Mandie's mother
3. You don't get to meet any of the Cherokees like Sallie, Morning Star, Uncle Wirt, etc.
4. Polly went on the trip (I never liked Polly and probably never will...)

Mandie and the Secret Tunnel

Things I like about this movie:

1. Despite the actual story varying a bit, the personalities of the characters are strikingly true to the book

2. The movie story is actually pretty good (and funny!)

Things I DON'T like about this movie:

1. They left out quite a bit of the story (the time she was hired at the Brysons, her mother and Uncle John getting married, her and her grandmother becoming friends, and Joe's proposal)

2. They left out a few characters

3. AUNT LOU WASN'T FAT!!

4. They called Uncle Ned just "Ned" except in ONE scene

Note: Yes, my dislike list is longer, but I actually really liked the movie. :)

How to Eat Fried Worms

Things I like about this movie:

1. It's really funny

2. It shows the differences between the way boys and girls think and act (as an amateur psychologist, I really liked that)

3. Nobody expected Erika and Billy to be together (after all, they aren't even in 8th grade yet)

4. The person bullying the bully got stood up to

5. It illustrates just how gullible public school kids can be (hence the reason I plan on homeschooling my future kids)

6. Kimberly Williams-Paisley was in it (Her husband is seriously one of my heroes)

7. All the kids reformed and were friends

8. The little brother is SO cute!

Things I DON'T like about this movie

1. Well, the thought of eating worms is really nasty, since I happen to know that this kind of thing sometimes DOES happen

2. I can't really complain about it but it just didn't really hit home
